Ready for a winter with lots of snow, white landscapes, sauna, drinking wine in an outdoor whirlpool, being surrounded by beautiful nature we travelled to Näshulta (near Eskilstuna) in Södermanland. With a big former farm (with billiard room, fireplace and yes sauna and outdoor whirlpool) as our base camp we enjoyed the woods around us; sledge, cross-country skiing, hiking, searching for elk, throwing snowballs and a tour around Hjälmaren and to the Baltic Sea. Together with a day in Stockholm (shopparadise) we had a great time. If you go by car don't forget the winter tires. You will need them!
