Sweden September 2005

September in Sweden. Beautiful autumn colours. With our lovely house and own boat at Lake Vimmerby to enjoy it all. We made daytrips to the Nydala monastery, Nässjö, castle ruin Sävsjö, Ingatorp, Torsa stones and Västervik. Highlights of this holiday; Ohsabanan (museum steam train) and Moosepark Elinge. (We also went to Moosepark Grönälgen in Kosta but there you have to be lucky to see a moose). In Moosepark Elinge however you are allowed to feed the mooses! We definitely made a special friend there. Norra Kvills National Park is very beautiful. You do not have to share the park with a lot of other people. Just take a look at (and listen to) all the (small) animals here and enjoy the peace out here. Unfortunately we just had a week to enjoy this all.
